GARDEN AUTOMATIONS

Lighting: Recommended devices: Shelly 1 Gen3 or Shelly Dimmer Gen3 for no neutral installations, or Shelly 1 Mini Gen3 or Shelly 1PM Mini Gen4 if space is limited. Provides remote access and schedules to switch the outside lights On and Off even when no-one is home. Monitor the power consumption of the lights and retrieve consumption information stored in the Shelly cloud. Countdown timers can be set if the light is turned On that it automatically switches Off to conserve energy.

Smart irrigation: Using the Shelly 1 Gen3, you can schedule your irrigation system to water your garden at certain times of the day or night and even skip watering on rainy days, based on weather forecasts and real time weather conditions.

GARAGE & GATE AUTOMATIONS

Recommended devices: Shelly 1 Gen3 (Dry contacts) with AC or DC power supply options to remotely open and close the garage doors or gate motor using the Shelly App or BLU Tough Button 1. Send push notifications to the user’s phone indicating that the door is opening or closing. Display the door status based on a read switch input that is wired to the Shelly Add-On. Trigger a security alarm siren on the user’s phone to inform the user that the garage door or gate has been opened during specified times of the day or night when the door should be closed.

Lighting: Recommended devices: Shelly 1 Gen3 & Shelly BLU Motion. When Motion is detected in the garage an automation can tigger a Shelly 1 Gen3 to turn a light On with a timer to turn Off with the absence of motion in order to conserve energy.

BEDROOM AND BATHROOM AUTOMATION

Using a Shelly 1 Gen3 create an automation to turn the TV and Home entertainment center’s power On or Off. Turn the bathroom extractor fan and light on when motion is detected. Use the Shelly Wall display touch screen to centrally manage and monitor power consumption, humidity and temperature of all smart devices. Add a weather component to display the current weather and time.

HomeAssistant is supported for integration with other smart devices. Switch on a light with the built in 5A relay. Listen to radio or music from locally stored media or radio stations by connecting a Bluetooth speaker. Group various lights and use of Alexa or Google home to create voice activated automations to control them.

Lighting: Recommended devices: Shelly 1 Gen3 in combination with a Shelly BLU Door/Window. Create an automation to switch On the entrance light as you open the front door and countdown timer to turn it back off should you wish to leave the door open.

Security: The BLU Door/Window can send a push notification that the door has opened to your phone and even an alarm siren if you schedule it to notify you during times when nobody is home.

LUX & Tilt angle: The BLU Door/Window can measure the LUX / light level of the environments. Tilt angle is displayed in the Shelly smart control app send you a notification based on weather conditions that the window is open and rain is expected

POOL PUMP AUTOMATIONS

Remotely switch the pool pump On or Off, monitor the power consumption of the pool pump and retrieve consumption information stored in the Shelly cloud at a later stage. Create a schedule or countdown timer to control the pump and save on energy consumption.
