Installation of Shelly devices must be done by a qualified electrician or authorised installers.
User interface
Inputs
- One push button (behind the back cover)
- Press and hold for 10 sec to pair Shelly BLU Motion with another Bluetooth device.
- Press and hold for 30 sec to factory reset (possible only shortly after inserting the battery).
- Double-press to set the Device in test mode. For a minute, the Device will broadcast every motion detection, indicating it by a red flash.
Modes of operation
- Regular mode – the Device broadcasts the motion detection status, illuminance, and battery status each time the motion-detection status changes (motion is detected or no motion is detected during the blind time). You can adjust the blind time from the Device settings in the Shelly Smart Control application. For more details, visit the Shelly Smart Control guide.
- Beacon mode – the Device broadcasts the motion detection status, illuminance, and battery status every 30 seconds. You can enable the Beacon mode from the Device settings in the Shelly Smart Control application. For more details, visit the Shelly Smart Control guide.
